Architect designed bicycle bridges

As I so often say, pedestrians are drivers let out for air, and thus not to be given much consideration in cyclespace. "Footpaths" in cyclespace are actually cyclepaths, and the word "footbridge" is a misnomer. These are bicycle bridges, clearly. And while the design of vehicular bridges may be left to uncouth engineers, bicycle bridges require the services of we refined gentlemen, of the architectural persuasion. Thus it has been since TM Pritchard designed the Coalbrookdale bridge in 1777, has remained with intervals in this narrative contributed to by architects like Gehry and Foster , and shall remain for all time. Marrying essentialism and finesse, the bicycle bridge is the flagship type of cyclespace architecture.
