architect designed folding bike

I must thank my friend David from architakes, for introducing me to the Morabike, designed by a Spanish architect, turned industrial designer. Now if John Ruskin were alive, this is the bike he would ride. Why? Because of its truthful expression of a raw material, stainless steel, in all its "as found" glory. Note the limited pallet of materials, the clockwork ultra-swift folding mechanism, oh, and the reasonable price. Just 750 Euro. Dr. Behooving, he is approving. I think I most love how it hinges fore of, not aft, the bottom bracket. This allows the chain to remain taught when the bike folds, for that single speed look we want if we're using hub gears, or no gears at all.
